Babies' first camping trip!

This last weekend we decided to go back to Bodega Bay and take the babies on their first camping trip. We went to the Bodega Dunes and had a wonderful time! The wind made it a little nippy, but other than that, the weekend was perfect. We went on a day hike and did some geo caching. The kids liked playing in the sand, sitting in their camping chairs, and playing with their cousin, William.

Bodega Bay

This weekend was a 5 day weekend for Bobby. We were all looking forward to spending time together, going geo caching, and getting in some hiking.... Unfortunately, on Thursday Chandler and I found that we had strep throat and Bobby had bronchitis. The doctor gave us all antibiotics, including Rowan. Needless to say, the weekend was not going to go as planned... or would it? On Sunday morning we decided that we were well enough, and sick enough of our house to pick up and spend the rest of the weekend in Bodega Bay. My mom graciously took the babies so that Bobby and I could spend 24 hours of the remaining weekend together. We found ourselves in town by 5pm on Sunday evening and spent the next day geo caching and hiking. Although, there had been a big storm that weekend, we seemed to have just missed it. The weather held and we had a great day that refueled us for the coming week. Thank goodness I'm married to a man as spontaneous as I am!
